Thank you for visiting our website. As summer is
fast approaching in the valley it's important to make sure you take a few precautions before entering any body of water. Please
follow these few simple guidlines to help make your pool and spa is safe this summer season.
Check fences and
gates to make sure they properly latch and close Have a licensed contractor inspect your light, gfci outlets, and
electrical to make sure its safe Make sure filter clamps are in good condition Valves and pumps are properly
mounted and positioned correctly Inspect deck lids, and diving boards for cracks or brittleness Make sure
youre drain cover is correctly in place and is not cracked or broken. If it hasnt been updated to the new ASME drain cover
which helps prevent entrapment. Wight Water highly recommends you do so. Check door, and gate alarms to see if they
are working properly. Check safety covers for rips and tears and make sure they close properly. Have a professional
check your heater for proper venting and gas leaks Remove weeds and grass away from pump and other electrical device
that can cause fires Make sure chemicals are properly stored and vented. Chemicals such as chlorine and acid if placed
together can produce a potentially lethal gas. Certain chlorine products mixed with water or oils can cause fires. Check with
your local pool store or fire department on how to properly store chemicals. Remove attractive appealing toys from
water after use to prevent curious kids from possibly reaching after them.
